IN FORCE911 PRODUCT ONE SHEETS

Designed two product one sheets (digital and print) for In Force911’s product. Designed in Photoshop and InDesign, these sheets were made to outline the basics of In Force911’s school safety app, and how it would benefit the consumer (a school worker or a law enforcement worker) at hand. The sheets feature variations of the font Montserrat and the brand colors. The digital versions of the sheets included clickable hyperlinks to the company’s social media pages.

IN FORCE911 POST CARDS

Designed company post cards that were printed and mailed to prospective customers. Constructed through Photoshop and InDesign, the post cards were meant to give a broader outline of the company’s safety technology.

IN FORCE911 COMPANY POSTER

Designed with Photoshop and InDesign, the company’s poster was made to showcase the affordability of In Force911 to educational facilities. After the team decided what approach to take with the poster and the body copy, I put the design into effect for poster printing specifications.

LIZA MINNELLI “THERE IS A TIME” ALBUM MAKEOVER

Redesigned the album artwork for Liza Minnelli’s 1966 album, “There Is A Time”, featuring photographs of Minnelli taken by Jacques Bonne. The artwork features the font Regalis Regular (for track listing and title text) and an illustration of Minnelli’s signature, which was designed by me. The goal with my design was to modernize the original artwork without taking away it’s original essence. This project was created in Illustrator and I followed all the guidelines of designing album artwork.

DANVERS HISTORICAL SOCIETY ART SHOW AD

Designed and printed a flyer for the Danvers Historical Society’s first annual art show. The text guidelines where given to me by the society, and they allowed me free range to design the ad that was consistent within their branding. I used dark grey text within the design so it would stick out against the white backdrop and to allow the logos of the sponsors to pop out as much as they needed to without over powering the whole ad. This project was created in Photoshop and InDesign, and distributed through guerilla marketing.

“FOSTER’S FEATURES INTERVIEW WITH JULIE DAWN COLE: ALL ABOUT JULIE” YOUTUBE THUMBNAILS

For my three-part media interview with Julie Dawn Cole, I designed YouTube thumbnails in Photoshop. Each thumbnail has a screenshot of Cole in Willy Wonka centered in the design so that audiences would recognize who the interview was about. The other two screenshots in each thumbnail is in reference to whatever film I was asking Julie about in that part of the interview. I also included my personalized logo in the corner of the thumbnails.

BIGELOW GREEN TEA BOX DESIGN

Designed and printed a tea box package for Bigelow Green Tea. I came up with the idea for the tea flavor, “Great Brit”, as an homage to English tea. I measured the dimensions of the original tea box, sketched two designs, sketched the entire design from scratch in Illustrator, printed it out, and put it together. The entire project was made in Illustrator.

LYNNE: THE ENGLISH ROSE (2019) POSTER

For my debut documentary film, I designed this film poster to promote it. The poster features a portrait of Lynne Frederick taken by Patrick Anson and a stock photo of a rose. The portrait was originally photographed in black and white, and I colorized and added a vignette effect around the background it in Photoshop. The rose was added over the portrait through an overlay effect. The font used for the main title was ITC Avant Garde Gothic LT Extra. The entire project was made in Photoshop.

LGBTQ MAGAZINE ARTICLE SPREAD

Designed a magazine article spread in a style for TIME® Magazine. I researched magazine articles to find appropriate fonts for article and headline text. The spread also features a stock image photo and an infographic that I designed in Illustrator. This was designed in Illustrator and InDesign.

“VALLEY OF THE DOLLS” BOOK JACKET MAKEOVER

Designed a book jacket cover for the cult classic, “Valley of the Dolls”. I researched past editions of the book and noticed the theme of alcohol and pills, and decided to use that theme but update the design with a stock image. I also used the font “Dienstag  5” because I felt that it had a modernized style of the 1960s (which is one of the time era’s of the book). This was designed in InDesign.

“THE OTHER WOMAN” DVD SLEEVE

Designed the DVD sleeve for the television drama “The Other Woman”, as part of the “Play For Today” series. To give off the theme of a psychological drama, I used the color blue to emphasize the deep melancholy themes that are touched upon in the film. To sharpen and balance off the this bold theme, I used the font “Optimus Princeps Semi Bold” for the title. The synopsis was written by me, all the photos are either stills or screencaps from the film, and I followed the guidelines for designing a DVD sleeve. This was created in Photoshop and InDesign.

SELF PORTRAIT/ABC BOOK SPREAD

Using a photograph of myself I sketched a self portrait in Illustrator with the pen tools and color swatches. My design was featured in an ABC book project for which I was assigned a letter and asked to come up with a word that has multiple meanings. This project was designed in Illustrator.

WORLD RECORD ILLUSTRATION

For this project I designed an illustration to showcase the world record of the longest single hair braid. Although my cousin, Emely, served as inspiration for the model, it was designed completely from scratch with the use of the pen tools and color swatches in Illustrator.
